Other Locations:

Sometimes it takes a bit of digging to find what you are looking for. Did you know that at 105th and Metcalf there are two little stores that you may have passed by without even noticing?  For example, Cigar and Tabac and Locks and Pulls.  Both are located at Metcalf 103 Shopping Center 6898 W 105th St.

Cigar and Tabac:
Cigar and Tabac is a long standing, family owned tobacconist. Although its kind of hard to find, it is well worth seeking out. Even if you aren’t an avid cigar smoker, its worth stopping in the shop just to view the original wooden Indian sculpture they have on site.  If you are one who enjoys a  fine cigar, then the staff on hand will be more than happy to help you locate a stick to fit your liking.  One of the employees, the man with reddish hair and glasses is an absolute walking encyclopedia of information. Again, well worth the trip just for the experience factor.

Locks and Pulls:
If you long for the days of sifting through your Grandfathers shed to locate a spare part, you’ll love this place.  Its a tight space. It is literally floor to ceiling locks and pulls. We think its the only store like it in the area and is a refreshing change from the big box stores located further north on Metcalf Avenue.   Another charming aspect of this store is they will let you take home sample pulls so you can install them on your doors and cabinets before you decide to buy all of them. Pretty neat huh?  A place that will let you test drive your drawer pulls.  They have been there for over 25 Years and we doubt they go anywhere else. I can’t imagine having to move all that stuff 🙂

We hope you enjoyed our small little sample platter of some off the beaten path places to shop.  Click here to check out more options that are available.
