Athletic Strength Institute has over 17 years of training experience working with professional, amateur, collegiate, and high school athletes from a variety of sports. Between the trainers, we have a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
We begin the training process by screening each athlete for weak muscles, flexibility limitations, and faulty movement patterns. These screenings provide the necessary information that allows us to develop an individualized training program that addresses these limitations before moving on to more traditional and advanced training methods.
We individualize each athlete’s nutrition program based on their sex, body type, needs, goals, the physical demands of their sport, and their level of commitment. We do not believe in fad diets or “short-cuts”. Our goal is to educate each athlete on how to make better food choices in order to optimize their performance and recovery.
We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to any athlete’s training or nutrition. The best training and nutrition programs are those that are individualized to the athlete.
